The Tripsy Tipsy Gypsies are Peter Hawkes, George Washingmachine and Christian Marsh – three internationally seasoned masters at the height of their powers for a one‑off Australian tour. Led by acclaimed composer and guitarist Pete Hawkes, whose collaborations span Bert Jansch to Steeleye Span, the trio channels his original blend of jazz, blues, folk and Celtic fire. Joining him is George Washingmachine, Australia’s best known jazz fiddle player, a globe‑trotting showman whose gypsy swing, blues phrasing, and multi‑instrumental flair have lit up stages from Havana to the UK. Completing the lineup is Christian Marsh, one of Australia’s standout harmonica voices, a chromatic specialist whose warmth, precision and showmanship elevate every performance.
Together, they unleash lilting gypsy‑jazz fiddle, thundering Celtic reels, wailing blues harmonica and sizzling slide guitar in a rare meeting of three “instruments of mass distraction.” A thrilling, unrepeatable collision of virtuosity and personality.

Dennis Aubrey is one of Australia’s best singer-songwriters and most loved buskers and concert performers. You’ve probably seen him busking somewhere around Central or the Opera House over the last 40 years or enjoyed him performing in at one the Troubadour events or seen one of his great performances elsewhere on the Central Coast. A number of his songs, such as The Bag Lady’s Waltz and Wedding Ring for Sale, have been picked up and sung widely by famous artists. People love these songs, and his massive treasure chest of songs by the Beatles, Dylan and just about anyone else you may remember from the 60s or 70s. He knows how to bring a tear to your eye and is sure to make you tap your feet and sing along to some of his great choruses.
