Kejafi is a fusion of intertwining dual fiddles, octave mandolin and double bass and effortlessly blend beautiful songs and exhilarating traditional and original tunes that celebrate the deep Australian and Scottish connection. Witness their fresh and modern interpretation that breathes new life into the living tradition of folk music. Their world class performances take listeners on a journey inspired by the haunting music of the Scottish Highlands, Ireland and the far flung islands at the north-west edge of Europe.
” VERVE Harmony, from the Central Coast, presents a diverse mix of choral works, including from African, African American, Indigenous, Eastern European and Western European folk traditions. VERVE Harmony is a friendly, welcoming, a cappella vocal group that shares a love of singing in harmony. The exuberant, creative community-based choir is led by multi-talented, new-to-the-Coast musician, Elizabeth W. Scott.
Elizabeth hails from New York and has worked across many musical genres. “We sing world music in many different languages for sheer enjoyment, with public sing-outs by invitation. New members are welcome to join us.” You can find them at verveharmony.com
