Lawrence Menard (USA) and Clare Quinn (AUS) are the transpacific-troubadours known as ‘Those Folk’. With Lawrence’s Cajun beginnings and Californian upbringing melding with Clare’s grounding in Australian folk music, their sound is diverse and inspiring. Vocal harmonies are featured alongside guitars, accordion & banjo.

Truly authentic, naturally charismatic, and delightfully entertaining, Lawrence Menard (USA) and Clare Quinn (AUS) are the transpacific troubadours known as ‘Those Folk’.

With Lawrence’s Cajun beginnings and Californian upbringing melding with Clare’s grounding in Australian folk music, their musical inspiration is diverse and ever expanding. Their worlds collided on the streets of Edinburgh, Scotland in 2012 the pair have been inseparable ever since.

Lawrence & Clare have been compared to the likes of Simon & Garfunkel, Gillian Welch & Dave Rawlings, and Johnny & June. Those Folk make not just folk music, but music for all sorts.

Steve Turner has performed in the UK, Europe and across globe for over 30 years – his mastery of multiple, his rich voice and his amazing repertoire ensuring he is loved by audiences and sought after by fellow musicians. He is one of the most accomplished and complete performers of traditional and contemporary British and American folk music on the world circuit. His recent album was voted the very best of the 1000 CDs received by the USA’s national folk programme Midnight Special broadcast from Chicago.

Concert will be outside, by the water, weather permitting – inside if the weather requires it. Supper will be provided – contributions (a plate) from guests are most welcome but are not required. BYOG.

Much loved singer songwriter Enda Kenny returns to the Troubadour to launch his new CD.  Great original Australian music with an Irish accent.

Enda Kenny is an Irish-Born songwriter who has made his home in Melbourne, Australia since the late 1980’s. His thoughtful, descriptive stories of his adoptive homeland have struck a chord with audiences all over Australia and are always memorable and spiced with plenty of humour. No wonder he is a favourite of audiences across the country.

Now residing near Mount Beauty in the Victorian Alps, Enda toured to New Zealand and UK & Germany in 2023, Ireland, UK and Europe in 2024, and continues with regular state and national tours through Australia and New Zealand.
