A former union organizer and activist based in New York, George Mann sings his own songs, powerful and funny takes on the state of the nation, as well as as a few classics in the tradition of Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger. His concerts are part sing-along, part history lesson, and he can make you shout for joy, send chills down your spine or bring tears to your eyes in the same set.
George is a songwriter’s singer who shares stories and songs from the long history of folk music and sing his own songs! He has produced albums featuring such folk music legends as Utah Phillips, Pete Seeger and Tom Paxton, and produced national tours of the US and Australia in honour of The Almanac Singers (2013) and Joe Hill (2015). George released his CD “This Chain” in October 2023, and in September 2024 he released a CD of Si Kahn’s songs, “Labor Day,” to honour Si on his 80th birthday. He will be featuring songs from this album and his next CD on his 2025 Australian tour, running through late November.

Chloe and Jason have been researching and presenting the living tradition of Australian music for over thirty years together, forging unique combinations of music, poetry and folklore. They bring you powerful and delicate songs, room-stopping recitations, seamless combinations of new and old Australian material presented with the easy warmth of old-style bush entertainment.
Over their professional recording and performing career, Chloë & Jason Roweth have independently released over twenty-five CDs and two DVD packages since 1995. Their latest album, ‘Phonograph Jack’ (2025), features the songs of migrants, chancers, and battered travellers with hope still alive in their hearts, and the dance tunes of home.
