SNEZ (NSW)

Here’s a review from her recent performance at the The White Room Music Cafe in Stanley, Durham, DH9, as part of recent UK tour.
‘An outstanding evening in the company of the superb Snez … coming to Stanley as part of her first ever UK tour was an absolute treat for everyone who came along and took a chance on her music so a huge thankyou to those who did come & show support for original music. A wonderful set full of musical storytelling with every song as good as the next, performed exquisitely on just guitar (and bazooki) & stunning voice. For those that didn’t make it you’ve missed an amazing artist tonight & really recommend you check out her music & catch her next time she is in DH9
Phil and Trudy Edgeley (Vic)
Phil and Trudy are the genuine article in a high quality package – virtuouso troubadours, singers, songwriters and storytellers. They have grown up in music and bring a unique depth of experience gained from performing together throughout Australia, UK, Europe and the USA. Returning from Victoria to their old stomping ground of Central Coast, where they lived for many years, Phil and Trudy Edgeley will be presenting an intimate program of their favourite blues and folk classics as well as some great original compositions at the Troubadour in Woy on Saturday 24 March.
Phil is a stunning blues dobro, slide-guitar player and singer has released 3 albums to date. His first great album This Life was released in 2005. This was followed by the haunting Then and Now in 2007 and the beautiful In the Blood 2011. Trudy is a wonderful singer, songwriter, instrumentalist and drummer in her own right. Drawing on her South Pacific background, she brings a whole new dimension to the duo’s impressive performances and their cherished recordings, such as ‘OnePlusOneEqualsThree’, widely regarded as a classic.
Russell Morris, of The Real Thing fame, captures the regard they are held in by their fellow Australian musicians. After appearing with them he wrote … they are truly ‘A duo that really defines Roots music – engaging and confrontational. A great experience’.

This is a real spring treat. Two truly unique and impressive Australian acts you’ll be so glad you’ve seen live. Only at the Troubadour! What a way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Get you tickets now.
